You do not need to create an account, enter your name, or submit personal information to use the keyboard tester.

Keyboard input

When you press a key, the browser provides keyboard event data such as event.key, event.code, and keyCode. This information is used only on this page to highlight keys and display the latest key event. This tool does not send your key presses to a server.

Saved interface preferences

The site can remember simple interface choices in your browser, such as selected language, theme, platform labels, and testing mode. These preferences are used only to keep the tool consistent for your next visit.
